The carving production programme of the company Slévárna KHGM, plc, is production focusing on grey iron castings, both for domestic and foreign market. The whole production proces sis regulated by means of informatik systém OPTI, developer for planning and management of foundry production by company RGU GmbH Dortmund. Formation is done in bentonite mixtures at small castings and in spontaneously petting boxing mixtures at casting sof larger dimensions which allows relativem high prcisencess indimensions. At the present time production capacity of Slévárna KHGM, plc, is 2,200 tons per year of grey iron. The foundry´s basic production representatieves are castings for machina tools – cases, beddings, supports, headstocks, stands and basis. Among other products also pipes, pulleys, avers, castings for food producing and textile machinery producers, ETA. The foundry operation is based on its smelting plant (42215-25, GG 15-GG 25). Smelting aggregates are two cold-blast cupolas of 700 mm diameter enrieched with oxygen and with production capacity of 3,5 tons per hour. Dedushing of smelting aggregates is executed by modern Scheuch filters. It has been realized also improvement of smelting process enriched with oxygen and concurrently central distribution systém of CO2 to individual working places has been executed. A new compressor station, new ventilation and rating systems of the foundry have been built. Efforts of owners of the foundry are to continue with modernizing the production oriented on improvement of all hygienie and in particular ecological impacts. Besides, the aim is to krove the quality of environmental impal, improvment of worker´s conditions in the sphere of work hygiene and with it indirectly connected iprovementa of product quality.
Strategic Aims
Among the main strategic aims of the company we rank first of all improvement of production quality by means of production management according to international standards ČSN EN ISO 9001:2009. By this measure the company pursues higher effectiveness of production and at the same time maintenance of favourable pricing policy for our ccustomers at compliance with the highest product quality.
